NRIVA Adopt a Student Form

Students seeking financial support from the 'NRIVA Adopt a Student (AAS) program' need to have the following documents:
  1. Student's photo
  2. Marks list for the last 5 years
  3. A ration card, economically backward certificate, or income certificate
  4. Student’s Aadhar card
  5. Authorized Letter from the institute with a fee breakdown of all fees, including tuition, exam, laboratory, transportation, building, CRT, etc., and the institute’s bank account details (account holder name, account number, bank name, address, and IFSC code) or the institute name that can be written on the cheque. The approved amount will not be transferred to the personal bank accounts of institute personnel or parents.
  6. Parents' and student's bank account transaction statements for at least the last 6 months (If a student does not have a bank account, the parent's bank statement will suffice.)
  7. Death certificate and/or hospital reports (if applicable)
  8. Rank card from the common entrance exam (for bachelor’s and master’s students)
  9. Seat allotment document detailing the tuition fee, government or scholarship coverage, and the student's payable amount (for bachelor's and master's students).
  10. To ensure a thorough review of your application, the AAS committee may request additional information if needed.

Before starting an online application, the student/parent needs to obtain the full name and phone number of the institute personnel so that the AAS committee can reach out to them (enter details under institute details section).

First-Time Applicant: Before starting the application, ensure you have all the documents listed above. Additionally, the institute’s bank account details and a reference (relative or family friend from whom you learned about the AAS program) are also required. Students who received financial support in the previous academic years and seek financial support for this academic year: Students need to apply every academic year with all required documents if they need financial support. Students who received financial support in previous years do not automatically qualify for the current academic year. Before starting the application, ensure you have all the documents listed above. To submit a new application for the current academic year, log in to your student's account at https://nriva.org/login. Once logged in, click on your profile name on the top menu bar that says “Hi, ” and click on the “My Profile” option. Once you are there, on the left side, click on 'Student Requests,' then on the right side, find your applications for previous years in a table. Click on ‘Add Service Request’ to proceed to submit a new application for the current academic year.

Instructions to attach missing documents in your application from the list above: Log in to the student's account at https://nriva.org. On the left side, click on 'Student Requests,' then on the right side, find your application and click the 'eye' symbol to attach missing documents. Once added, click 'Save Documents' to save what you have added. Your application will not be reviewed until it is complete. Send an email to aasteam@nriva.org once you have uploaded all the required documents. Then, your application will be considered for review.

Submitting several incomplete and/or inaccurate applications is not helpful for the review process. The AAS committee requires one complete and accurate application per academic year per student.

Incomplete and inaccurate applications from students who received financial support in the previous year and are enrolled in bachelor's and master's degree programs will be rejected and not considered for the current academic year.
