Yes..... it's here, the most awaited NRIVA Cruise 2023.
We are happy to announce that the long-awaited cruise to Europe is finally here and it is going to be very exciting for all of our extended families. NRIVA has received a overwhelming response for our poll earlier this year and we have heard your voice loud and clear. Please see below for the cruise dates, itinerary details, frequently asked questions, and procedure to book your desired suite on the cruise. There are only limited number of cabins available and it is on first come first serve basis.
It is time to enjoy the Mediterranean Cruise (Rome to Rome) with family and friends.

How to Reserve Your Cruise:
a) Download and fill the 
Booking Form in it's entirity
b) Email the filled in Booking Form to "Cruise@gitatravels.com"
c) Call Gita Travels @ 248-689-5201 to make payment and reserve your room
Until all 3 steps are completed, your room is neither booked nor guaranteed.

What are the travel dates?
The cruise departs Rome on 25 July 2023. You can arrive in Rome airport on the morning (Noon or earlier) of the day of sailing (7/25). Hence, we prefer that Guests arrive in Rome a day earlier so that they do not miss their cruise due to flight cancellations or delays. Please note that it takes about 1 to 1 ½ hours to travel from the Airport to the Cruise port.
Note: All Guests need to be on-board by 5pm. Ship will depart at 7pm.
Sail dates:
7/25: Depart Rome (Civitavecchia Port)
8/03: Arrive Back in Rome. Disembark by 9am. Your departure flights should be after 1 pm.
What are the Ports visited?
Italy: Rome, Naples (Pompeii), Cagliari Sardinia, Livorno (Florence, Pisa)
Spain: Palma Majorca, Ibiza, Barcelona
France: Cannes

- Balcony cabins have a walk-out verandah overlooking the ocean.
- Inside cabins do not have a window.

NOTE:
- - Gratuities for the 3rd & 4th Guests are already included in the above quoted prices.
How many Guests can stay in a cabin?
- - Most of the rooms accommodate 2 Persons. Some are designed for 3 or 4 Persons.
- In the Inside cabins the accommodation for the 3rd and 4th Persons are designed as “Bunk Beds” which unfold above the lower berths. They are similar to the “Upper Berths” in Indian First-Class Coupe compartments.
- The Balcony category rooms have a sofa-bed to accommodate additional Persons.
What does the Cruise price include?
The Cruise price includes accommodation, meals, on-board entertainment and the FREE cruise benefits mentioned earlier.
Cruise price does not include:
- - Airfare to Rome
- Optional shore excursions
Are there any other expenses?
Shore Excursions: NCL Cruises offers optional Shore Excursions at the Ports. NRIVA is also planning on organizing optional shore excursions.
How long are the above mentioned prices valid?
NRIVA has been allotted a limited number of cabins at the price mentioned in each of the categories listed in the above table. These prices will be valid until the allotted cabins are booked. After these are taken, further bookings will be at the prevailing prices.
When and how much is the Initial Payment?
- Initial Payment is due at the time of booking.
- The Initial Payment is 35% of the total cruise price.
- Payments by Check or Zelle is preferred and will be credited a 2% discount in the final payment.
What is the cancellation penalty for the Initial Payment?
Until Dec-10: Deposit is fully refundable. (Note: If paid by credit card a service fee of 3% will apply)
After Dec-10: Deposit is non-refundable; but fully transferable to anyone else without penalty until 30 days prior to sail-date.
When is the Final Payment?
The balance amount (final payment) is due by March-10.
Payments by Check or Zelle is preferred and will be credited a 2% discount in the final payment.
What is the cancellation penalty for the Final Payment?
Until March-10: Deposit is non-refundable; but fully transferable to anyone else without penalty.
After March-10: Final payment is non-refundable; but fully transferable to anyone else without penalty.
Is a Visa required?
US citizens do not require a visa.
Indian citizens will require a “Schengen Visa”.
When should I make a reservation?
You will have a good choice of rooms when you make a reservation now.

How do I make a booking?
- Download the “Booking Form” from the NRIVA website; fill-in the info and attach it to your email along with a scanned passport copy (or a picture of your passport page taken on your cell phone).
How about Travel Insurance?
Travel Insurance should always be a part of your travel plans. It protects your vacation investment from unforeseen mishaps.
NCL Booksafe Travel Protection Plan: NCL offers several travel protection plans for their cruisers. Their plans include “Cancel for Any Reason” clause and cancellation due to COVID. Their plans covers only the cruise portion of the tour. It does not cover your airline tickets and any other tours if purchased outside of NCL. Other Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance can be purchased from any Insurance provider. A few Travel Insurance providers are listed at the GitaTravels.com website also for your review.
