Boston Atmarpana Day 2023

Dear Vasavites

NRIVA Boston Chapter is happy to invite you and your families to our Atmarpana Day 2023 pooja.

Pooja Event Details: 

Date: Sunday Jan 22nd 2023, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Location: New England Shirdi Sai Pariwar (NESSP), 99 Shirdi way, Groton, MA 01450

 

Following rituals will be performed during Pooja:

  • Ganapathy puja punyahavachanam
  • Vasavi Matha Homam
  • Abhishekam and Alankaram
  • Saamuhika Kumkumaarchana

All families will be sitting in a row and performing pooja for ammavaru idol.

The pooja will be followed by group photo.

The following items will be provided to each family to perform pooja:

1. Small Ammavari idol (Please bring it if you already have it)
2. Pooja material
 

Notes:

1) Bring your own plates for Pooja Gold/Silver/Steel, at least 10" dia recommended. This will be used for Pooja for the small Ammavari Idol that you will bring from your home (for new families NRIVA provides Idol). Also, bring Pancha Pathra & Udhrani. Small towel so to avoid napkins.

2) Devotees will be seated in the order they checked in at the front desk. Front desk volunteers will provide a number indicating where to sit.


3) We are conducting the Food drive during Vasavi Jayanthi event. All food items collected will be donated to a local Charity. We request you to bring the following items: Jarred pasta sauce, jelly - strawberry is popular, canned pineapple, canned pears, quick bread and cornbread baking mixes, baked beans, boxed macaroni & cheese, granulated sugar, salt, and hazelnuts
