The Maryland Chapter was founded in 2012 by Ashok Segu, Srinivas Chittimalla, and Ananth Nirumalla with a vision to bring together fellow Vasavites to celebrate and honor Vasavi Matha Atmarpana Day Puja and Vasavi Jayanthi Puja. Over the years, our chapter has grown from 10 families to more than 200 families and continues to expand. Our primary goal is to support national level charity events such as RAISE, as well as local charitable donations, while also providing opportunities for our members to participate in local events like the summer picnic. Under new chapter leads, we are excited to plan new events this year and encourage members to become lifetime members to take advantage of additional benefits such as access to stock, matrimony services, and other national level groups. With a team of 28 dedicated core members who plan and execute our events, we are committed to fostering a strong sense of community among our members and continuing to grow as a chapter.
