Presenters: - Kavya Kopparapu (Junior, Harvard University), Samyutha Belde (Senior, Westfield high school), Rishitha Voleti(Junior, Thomas Jefferson high school for Science and Technology), Sanjana Sharvirala.

Kavya Kopparapu, Junior at Harvard University

Kavya is a junior at Harvard studying computer science and neuroscience. Kavya is the inventor of several award-winning medical and AI innovations, including a smartphone-based diagnostic platform for diabetic retinopathy and a precision medicine prediction platform for glioblastoma. Her projects earned her one of TIME's Most Influential Teens of 2018 and Glamour Magazine's College Woman of the year. She has a patent and has been featured by WebMD, Tech Crunch, Refinery 29, and IEEE Spectrum. Kavya was a 2019 Teen Choice Award recipient for her work with her nonprofit organization, GirlsComputingLeague, which works to provide accessible emerging technology education to low-income students and young women. Since 2015, GCL has helped over 5,000 students, and operates in over 10 states in the US.

Samyutha Belde ,Senior, Westfield high school

 

Samyutha Belde is a rising senior at Westfield High School. She is passionate about both economics and computer science, and plans to pursue a career combining both fields. Samyutha is the Chief Administrative Officer of GirlsComputingLeague, and strives to bring technology education to students in socioeconomic and gender minorities. She is actively involved in fundraising and organizing large scale events that impact thousands of students across the US.

Rishitha Voleti,Junior, Thomas Jefferson high school for Science and Technology

Rishitha Voleti is passion about STEM and has participated in several competitions. Rishitha is the Chief Innovation officer of GirlsComputingLeague and shares her passion for technology with under priveleged students in Title 1 school community and is working towards inclusive tech diversity. She loves to dance and is planning for an arangetram. She was instrumental in deliverying hundreds of 3D printed face masks during the COVID times.

Sanjana Sharvirala, Light Ridge high school

Sanjana Sharvirala is interested in currently pursuing robotics, debate and programming. She is passionate about giving back to the community. She is interested in pursuing medicine. She is the Chief Technology Officer for GirlsComputingLeague and takes pride in helping younger students learn technology to solve problems.
