Noelle Oliver is a professional college advisor, college application writing specialist, and English instructor at Folsom Lake College in the Sacramento area of California. She has guided hundreds of California high school and college students as a teacher and college advisor and has worked with students who have been accepted to prestigious colleges all over the United States: MIT, Stanford, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Georgia Tech, Yale, Stanford, USC, California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, and West Point. Trained as a writing teacher, she has a master’s degree and teaching credential from UC Irvine and a BA in English from UC Santa Barbara.

 

Noelle has over 25 years of experience as an educator, and for the last five years, she has worked with college-bound students as their college planner, offering advice on admissions probability and sharing strategies to maximize their chances for acceptance. Owner of Oliver Writing Services, a small business in Northern California, Noelle specializes in working with college applicants who need help with the writing tasks associated with applying to college, especially the 650-word Personal Statement and UC Personal Insight Questions.
