AP FLOOD RELIEF 2009

NRIVA RESPONDS TO THE FLOOD DISASTER IN INDIA

NRIVA Family is saddened with the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in India where hundreds died and several thousands became homeless and lakhs of people don't have access to basic needs like Water, Food and Shelter.

NRIVA is glad to help the 108 Flood effected Families with Rs4000 per family in the event organized in Kurnool on NOVEMBER 25. Sri.TG Venkatesh, MLA of Kurnool distributed the money to the families and the event was attended by NRIVA Core Members from USA and India. 108 families mostly from Kurnool, Alampur and Kallur areas were helped with the money. We thank each one of the good hearted people below for their generous contributions. Families who received the help expressed their thanks to all contributors and NRIVA. Name of the families who were helped along with the pictures of the event will be published very soon.

As there are many people still looking for help desperately, we will continue to accept the contributions and route the money to effected families. Please contribute generously using following Google Checkout.
